I'm Carol, an award winning silversmith and jewellery teacher based in Yorkshire, UK. I work in solid silver, taking antique cutlery and vintage buttons and giving them new life, plus creating accessible and inclusive jewellery for people with disabilities and health conditions. As a disabled artist, I campaign for disability equality and have a collection of sensory jewellery for neurodivergent or anxious customers. And I'm addicted to Pearls and certified by the Cultured Pearl Association of America.

I teach the CBC jewellery School, where students learn a vast collection of techniques, from pearl knotting and stone setting to metalsmithing and wire wrapping. My classes are student-led and I'm a Fellow of the Institute of CPD, so you know you're getting quality teaching! I'm a Guest Designer on Jewellery Maker TV, where I share my knowledge and top tips with the world. I also volunteer at my local Repair Café, mending people's precious and sentimental jewellery for free.

I'm thrilled to have been awarded a SmallBiz100 and also an IAlso100 by Small Business Britain. I came second in the national jewellery design competition, Britain's Next Gem.
